Don't Turn On Your PS3

So apparently people are losing Trophies and their files on the PS3 are being corrupted (things like themes). Also, games with Trophies don't work, but the ones without Trophies work fine. Apparently Sony screwed up big time. So I would refrain from booting up your PS3 for awhile. Even if you have a Slim (this problem is supposedly only affected Fat models), you're technically safe, but to be safe I'd refrain from even booting up a Slim.

Like I said, the Slim models works. This really only seems to affect the Fat models. Sony is trying a fix. Apparently this is a calendar issue, where the internal clocks on most Fatties is off, preventing you from keeping or gaining Trophies and signing into PSN. Today at 6 p.m. (I'm assuming EST), Sony will attempt to realign all of the clocks at once. If that doesn't work, they will release a firmware patch, but Sony knows as much about this problem as the rest of us.

Sure, 360 fanboys are gobbling this up, much like PS3 fanboys have been gobbling up RROD. Oh well. I have a Slim, so this error doesn't affect me, but to be safe I'm keeping it off, although a few members at Playstation University reported having their consoles working again.
