made him look like a fool, and turned the game into marvel ultimate alliance. it doesn't even look like its worth a rent now.

would a dev really make one version of a game a TOTALLY different one from the other versions? if this IS the case and HVS keeps the wii version the eay it was supposed to be...well its a fact that the wii version will be superior cause the screenshot shown looked HORRIBLE.

I don't like isometric games like that. There are a few exceptions, though. This is not one of them.

I'm not gonna lie. I'm no longer a fan of High Voltage Software. I used to hold them to high regards for pumping the most out of the Wii and creating The Conduit. Then I really respected them after seeing The Grinder, a L4D style online shooter on the Wii and then a gorey, gladiator, bloodbath, fighting game for the Wii by the name we used to know as Gladiator A.D. Then they changed the formula for that turning it into a mythological fighter with sparkles and magic. It may still be good, but it's not the game I've been waiting a year for or that they showed me a year ago. And then this. They make the Grinder look like Monster Madness! WTF HVS?!?! Make up your minds! I don't care what kind of games they make but don't change the game your making every month. I'm sure the games will be fine but if they were going to make these games, that's what they shouldve shown, not something else.

I've kinda lost all faith in HVS as a developer. I mean, The Conduit could've been a great game but too many things stopped it from achieving that eg. all the fricken hackers/glitches/10 minute waits just to get into a game on wifi. They used to work on dora the explorer games before their "big title" The Conduit was released and that game was ridiculousy overhyped and did not turn out to be what everyone expected it to be. I feel like they've betrayed the wii fanbase by 1) Making what looked like an awesome wii exclusive fps multiplatform and 2) Changing it from an fps to whatever the hell you would call it now (...im guessing complete shit). Yeah, i really couldn't care less about HVS anymore.

Don't worry, this is only confirmed for the HD versions.

The Wii version may still be an first-person shooter. They promised this and I doubt they'll break it.

Why they would do this just confuses me? They have no reason for this. High Voltage must be high.... this explains so much. XD

the reasoning for SOME of their decisions mostly concerning the grinder was they need the money, and the sells for the game is unpredictable if it will sell well or not, so they put it multi to make sure they get atleast some revenue in because they are after all, making conduit 2, which the 1st wasent a GOTY it was a good and i bought it btw, just not great, but they could fix the mistakes in the 1st game with the sequel which is y its still getting hype even after the 1st one....but my 1st statement more implied to where we all thought the grinder was gonna be a fps with crappier controls which didnt turn out not the case cause of this huge mistake by them, the only good side i see with this decision is if they are truely keeping the wii version a fps exclusive then the wii would actually gain more of the "hardcore" audience and by the wii version more which in turn give HVS more money for the conduit2 which means a better presentation especially when it came to details in some areas of the game in terms of level design otherwise i have lost all faith in them for the moment, if this turns out to be a big mistake they did for the grinder, idk if i should believe in them when conduit 2 comes out or not
