Star Fox Wii: Battle for Corneria Rumor!

Those who grew up with Star Fox will be glad to hear this one. If the Turkish gaming news site Nintendocu is to be believed, then Nintendo Power will be revealing a Star Fox game for the Wii on their next issue.

The New Star Fox game will be called Star Fox Wii: Battle for Corneria. About the only details in the rumor thus far is that the game will have Wii MotionPlus support and an "Online Space Battle Mode" with Wii Speak support capabilities.

Thats all now and its only rumor's!!

Man, if this is true, I'm gonna have a joygasm. And I haven't had on eof those since........watching Metroid Other M's trailer lol.

But really, I hope this rumor is true, cause Starfox is my 2nd favorite Nintendo franchise, Metroid being the first. They can do so much with Wii controls and the online would be beast.

all i got to say is finally. ive been waiting for a while. I thought about 6 months ago "Nintendo is forgetting something" then it hit me star fox lol

I love the Star Fox Series. My favorite character is Falco. I hope if this game comes out it will be the same as Starfox Assult. Being able to use the Air Craft and walk on land. =)

yea make it like assault split screen but online maybe some wii speak some cool game modes and ( a ranking system) hoping itll take the good from assualt and add it to this one and fix the flaws. but still with online itll be crazy fun

Okay I just got Wii Sports Resort and I played Dogfight...now I'm really craving a Starfox game! The controls would work SOOOO good with Wii motion plus! Wii Dogfight was awesome (wish i had radar)

Imagine huge maps like the island on Sports Resort but in Starfox, and with 12 other people! AND Radar! but with some tweaks. I crave Starfox now. Shame Wii Sports Resort dogfight isn't wifi...


All and all Starfox would be perfect with the controls in dogfight!
