You should wait until the generation ends to buy new consoles. The generation ends like late 2010 or early 2011...so we only got one more year left. Kind of a waste of money, since the next consoles will probably do and play everything the last ones could.

you lost rep; the generation won't end for another 3-4 years at least. the DS will be upgraded to a new portable Nintendo console, but other then that the generation will be continuing for a whil yet.

my thoughts sony has the PS3 on a ten year cycle could maybe seeing the next console for them maybe 2012(the year the world end wooooooo i jest)but i really don't want the next gen to start anytime soon and hello to u good sir.

I am new here. My name is Kendo. I love Nintendo and the Wii is a good console. Very good. I believe in Wii60. I think the PS3 is decent at best (only a couple games interest me, the rest are PS2 games)... I have been a gamer forever. I used to have a Wii and loved it until it was stolen. I hope to get a new one.

the rest are ps2 games? what do you mean?

The only PS2 games PS3 can play would be GoW 1 + 2.

and that's only because they were transfered to ps3 format. the ps2 disc won't work on it.
