After watching some videos of Shokio vs SamueltehG33k. I started to think about what the Fanboy Game has become!
Then I look at things like the Wii Network and TreyBrothaHood. The purpose of both and how they each do things.
Basicly both are video game gangs. Each claiming a side and going to war. Now I know most Wii owns one of the HS systems maybe both.
So you also wear those colors as well. I still wonder how you can still rep both sides.
Here are my thoughts on this new way to battle. Also choosing sides when it comes to the HD systems.

The wii network is not a video game gang, it's just a forrum to hang out and talk about the wii, Shokio wants the wii network to be like the trey brotherhood, but I disagree. The trey brotherhood is a gang, but the wii network isn't.

Thanks for the sub! But ya I agree too the Wii Network is not a gang, but it's slowly turning into one. Shokio said in a video he made once. He never attacks only defend. So lets keep the WN like that. The TreyBrotherhood is a gang if your going to ally with them. Then what are you saying.

One problem with your logic

1. Nintendo's Blue ocean is becoming a red ocean.
2. Those companies went from prostitutes to pimps. Epic Fail.

First this video was explaining the difference between Nintendo's Blue Ocean and they others Red Ocean.
Next They are still the one selling something. So using prostitutes as a Metaphor of the Gaming Industry fits.
Pimps don't sale anything they collect. If your saying that Microsoft and Sony are now Pimps then your wrong. They lose money on their systems. Only Nintendo makes a profit.
Finally before you judge the logic watch the final part of the episode. That's right below! I figured for some the images of women might confused them from understanding what was going on.

It isn't as if Nintendo wanted to go into the Red Ocean. Their area is becoming a red ocean. With Microsoft's stupid ass camera and Sony's Ball on a stick, they have to increase their install base before their sales really take a hit. One of the huge advantage Nintendo has over the Xbox360 and PS3 is the software. Software on the Wii unique from the other two systems, the reason why the Wii holds apprx. 50% of the market. You can get either a PS3 or Xbox360 pretty much have the same experience. That rule doesn't apply to the Wii. The Wii obviously offers a different experience. You can see just looking at the list of games both are offering. With new technology coming out, the market is becoming a red ocean. When it comes down to it at the end, they need software to drive their sales and look for developers to take more interest, which I suspect to be the case. Even Sean Malestrom stated this in his Blue Ocean and Disruption essays that would be the case. Now Sony and Microsoft are looking to play catch up and try to get a piece of the pie. The problem is that they are introducing new technology that doesn't have a large library to back it up. The Nintendo made it the cornerstone of their strategy to incorporate this new technology and has the software to back it up their technology.

Also, I was being sarcastic about the hooker to pimps explanation.

See that was the point I was trying to make. I believe Nintendo do not have to do a price at this moment. The best time to enter the Red is when they enter Nintendo's Blue.
Next year when Natal, and the wand drops. They will try to flex their muscle as the new great thing. This is when Nintendo needs to price drop.
1. It gives them some attention, and hype in the press.
2. They can then use the RED Ocean Tactic.
Well why buy their motion controls and pay extra to get it. Knowing that they will have to charge something for it. On top of the price of a new video console.
When you can get a cheaper Wii with it included. Also we have a 4 year library to back ours up.
A price cut now is premature, and leaves them with almost nothing. To combat them when their Motion Controls arrive. That was the point of that series of videos. I just have a habit of explaining too much. So I could have said that in just 1 video. Instead I wanted to tell a story and cover multiple subjects. Thanks for checking them out and good talk.
