Got it first thing this morning. I haven't played it all the way through. The mechanics itself is not only solid, but really smooth. Trust me, I am always busting on people's reviews when they overrate games. This game is the real deal.

played it earlier this morning. it's pretty damn good. the only thing i do not like is the soundtrack, but that's just my inner music-purist talking as i am a bit of an anime enthusiast (didn't stop me from having fun). it's very fast paced, flashy, and freaking stylized.

get this game as soon as you can.

I definitely will agree, I don't like the presentation. They opted out for still drawings and swapped out the music. In addition, the music in the stages are fixed, as opposed to swapping between music when characters are swapped out. Otherwise, the game is pretty smooth.
