Ratchet & Clank Discussion
This is where you can talk about Ratchet and Clank games you've played and/or playing, favorites in the series, and other stuff.
Even though Up Your Arsenal is my favorite of all time, A Crack in Time comes every close 2nd, followed by Tools of Destructions.

Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
A Crack in Time is an excellent game. It's hilarious. My only gripe is that the Clank levels are so much fun that it makes the Ratchet levels seem less fun, even though the Ratchet levels are pretty good too. I also wish there were more Clank levels.
Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
Havnt played R&C future game's.But i LOVED the PS2 one's.
i couldnt tell you how much i loved up your arsenal and going Commander. The original was also awesome.
IMO,R&C is going downhill. They just aint what they used to be.

Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
I would have to disagree. A Crack in Time is arguably one of the best R&C games. I didn't play Tools of Destruction, but I heard that wasn't as good as the others. And Quest for Booty I heard was pretty good, but not great.Arbiteris#2 wrote:Havnt played R&C future game's.But i LOVED the PS2 one's.

That doesn't make sense since the newer ones are still doing what the older ones were doing.

Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
Maybe because some reviewers are getting sick of the same/similar formula. Although the Clank levels in A Crack in Time were a great change of pace. I just wish there was more of it to love.Arbiteris#2 wrote:Mark_chaos wrote:Arbiteris#2 wrote:Havnt played R&C future game's.But i LOVED the PS2 one's.

Ever wonder why I never listen to reviewers.
Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
My favorite is up your arsenal...or as I like to call it, up your a$$ xD I played the game SO MUCH that my disc was scratched up badly and so I never could play it again and a Crack in time is my 2nd favorite for sure

Well, the series is dying and being replaced by PS3's new franchise's.Just like Jak And Daxter and Sly before.i dont suspect the franchises will last too much longer.

Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
I listen to independent reviewers. The only major publication I listen to is GameInformer. Sites like IGN and Gamespot only care about revenue and attention. I'll occasionally listen to IGN, but never Gamespot after the Kane and Lynch incident.Mark_chaos wrote:TheRighteousFascist wrote:Maybe because some reviewers are getting sick of the same/similar formula. I miss Jak and Daxter. WAY better than Uncharted IMO. I haven't played enough of Resistance to see how much I like it compared to Ratchet and Clank (I'm about halfway through Fall of Man), but I will miss Ratchet and Clank should it go.Arbiteris#2 wrote:Well, the series is dying and being replaced by PS3's new franchise's.Just like Jak And Daxter and Sly before.i dont suspect the franchises will last too much longer.

I don't listen to any really. Last thing I need is some idiot making my mind up for me.
Back on topic: My favorite weapon is the Groovitron.

Well, when looking at reviews, I look for facts rather than opinions. Things like "the controls have a delay" over "the controls are bad".Mark_chaos wrote:TheRighteousFascist wrote:I listen to independent reviewers. And I agree: the Groovitron is awesome.

It's more the score than the facts I really have problems with.
Don't forget about Mr. Zurkon, you know the guy in my sig.

- Mr.Zurkon is the best thing that hit the Ps3 .
BBC or Sho should put him on the PS3 side!!!!

Re: Ratchet & Clank Discussion
Oh, I forgot about Mr. Zurkon. He's awesome. Better than the Groovitron. He kinda reminds me of the Mr. Gutsy robots from Fallout 3. I also think the Tesla Spikes are the most useful. Not the coolest or best, but the most useful.
