im not sure ive only just found out about it my self. but the video was from may last year so it might be out, ill try and find out for you

Nice video, but this is not true 2.5D. 2.5D is 3D visuals in a 2D world, not the other way around. See New Super Mario Bros. Wii as an example.

There are different types of 2.5D. There's graphical 2.5D, which is NSMBW, and there's different planes of 2.5D. Take Soul Calibur for example. You are in a 3D space, but can only exist in a 2D plane. You can then pivot between planes. LittleBigPlanet is similar in that you can hop between 2D planes.

You're right, this Megaman game isn't 2.5D, but it's for a different reason. You're never hopping planes in this Megaman, just changing camera angles. It still looks pretty damn cool, though.

2.5D is also like Ragnarok Online, it can be sprites in a 2D world that gives the illusion of 3D.

That would be it. The game is basically a homage to The Legend of Zelda. It's getting alright reviews, but it looks really good anyways.

Weird but really really awesome. Reminds me of the modern pokemon games in a way.
