Where to get Black Wii now! (It's also on sale!)

Ever thought about getting Japanese games that aren't in the U.S. yet? Want to play on a Black Wii? How about region locked games that are only out in Japan right now? Now you can! Yes, but painting it doesn't make it Japanese compatible. =P Also, I'm sure it would look awful if you painted you Wii black by yourself.

Each shell case comes with a Tri-Winged screwdriver so that you can take off your white shell and replace it with the new color shell you purchased. No need to spend the price of another Wii plus some to import a black system. You can even buy the LED that goes into the DVD slot so you can change your color.

This is more focused on the fact that the Wii plays Japanese games. Including Muramasa: The Demon Blade. The color is just an added bonus kinda thing, ya know?

Maybe so but you can easily softmod a Wii to play out of region games and still not pirate. I just dont see the point of buying another Wii when you can easily play import games and have a different color in a easier way.

I'm pretty sure modding you Wii in any way voids the warranty.
And it is also possible Nintendo can patch the mod. Though, i'm not exactly familiar the the mod.

Yes and No. Technically you do but If you're really nice about things when you do call NOA and act like its just a hardware malfunction you wont be screwed over. Trust me on that one. I have had some very lovely conversations with Nintendo reps just by being "super polite". As for my personal experience with modding. If you're just doing it to get to a point where you can play official imports and thats all then honestly, getting to just that point is child's play.

Is it possible for the mod to be patched? If so, you're kind of stuck with Japanese games you can't play.

If you want to be official about things and only use your mod for playing retail copies of just your in region and import games all you have to do is install the Homebrew Channel and then grab the program GeckoOS. You don't need all the extra stuff for playing backups.

Still, couldn't it be patched? And it voids the warranty. You may be able to get lucky with Nintendo and get a new Wii even with a void warranty, but this is just to play it safe. I mean, if money is the issue, you should mod, but this is more of for the people that can afford to blow money on it. Black Wii is awesome, and if you don't have a Wii in the first place and want a Black Wii here you go.

I can have this done with 20 bucks somftmooded wii for Region free games and change the shell

This is more for people who may not own a Wii and want one. And how to play region-free games without voiding your warranty.

Is there a difference in hardware other that the black wii and wiimote? If it had like better storage i would get it, but i dont see a point in it otherwise...
