Okami DS confirmed!!

Okami sequal confirmed for the ds. This game has officially dethroned scribblenauts as my most anticipated game!

You control chibiterasu, bascically a puppy version of Ammiterasu, all of the main characters (Issun, Ammiterasu, Susano) are in the game, and it is a adventure puzzle like the first. As you would expect, you draw on the screen with you celestial brush, the game looks like it is pushing the ds, though it is to early to tell. Here you are, your first screens

Hmm...I've never played okami but I think it looks funner if it were on DS. I might get it.

If you like zelda, you'll love okami. It is a really great game, and you should give it a try

This kind of dissapoints me, its not going to have nearly as much content as a game of this reputation should....

Everybody though the same thing about Phantom Hourglass, but that surprised us all. I don't know about you, but I think that this game will be a lot more successful on ds than any other console, then if sales prevail, we might see a true sequel. Any okami game can't be that bad eh!

i cant wait but i would prefer another console version of okami, but okami ds is better than no okami, big fan of the first and defenently will buy this one the ds will make the "writting" i guess u could call it more precise, is there any release date confirmed? (america or japan)

It's been in development since December, and is about 25% finished. They say it should be out somewhere around 2010. I would doubt that they would keep it in japan for too long before we got it. It looks great for a DS game though, doesn't it? They made it for the ds because they want as many people to have the opportunity to buy the game, but I think it's just because of low dev costs. If it sells well, I wouldn't doubt we would be seeing sequels!
