Definately get Mario Galaxy, you'll need to gain the skills in that game in order to beat the next one.

Metacritic will give you a fair shake on the quality of game. Granted, it isn't quite as good finding a good review.

For the ones you asked about, Mario Kart, The Conduit, Madworld.
Mario Kart- Depends on your take on the Mario Kart series. There are some die hard fans out there that will tell you that it feels like a downer from Mario Kart Double Dash. If you like to play around with the series, it is a worthwhile pick. I enjoyed personally for about a month.
The Conduit- Pretty damn horrible. There are people who will tell you the game is good but there are better First Person Shooters for the console, even if it isn't a large selection. Consider these as superior alternatives, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Call of Duty: World at War, Water Warfare (some have said it is an underrated game).
Madworld- Have yet to play it. Although it is suppose to be short. You might want to consider waiting a year for the price to drop. Then it will be a bargain, even when it is brand new.
I would consider buying the following for your Wii.
-A Gamecube Controller (The best choice would be a wavebird if you can afford it)
-Two Gamecube Memory Cards
-A Classic Controller
-Wii Sports Resort (Motion Plus really is amazing).
Keep in mind that the Wii doubles as both a Wii and a Gamecube. There are quite a nice lineup of Gamecube games, although they feel pricey as used games. However, Nintendo games happen to have a high resell value.

Some games don't always work well with the motion controls, but when they do it is a great feeling. However, some of these games work with the classic controller/Gamecube controller. The Wii can also play virtual console games, allowing you to play NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Sega Master System, Arcade Games, Commodore 64 games, Neo Geo, Turbo Graphx 16 games.

Also Wii Motion Plus feels really great to play with. It blows chunks out of the original Wii Sports. While I have yet to buy, it is going to be a solid buy, especially with some upcoming games being enhanced by motion plus or requiring it.

Also, to add to what Godwind said, don't get Wii Sports Resort until the ultra pack comes out that comes with an additional Wii Motion Plus for free.

if you like DBZ games(i know i hated them til i got this one), get DBZ tenkiechi 3. it has 130+ characters, pretty good online, the gameplay is the best of any DBZ game i've played to date(yes includin burst limit). lots of replay value due to items and levelin up, and a good local vs mode.
maybe i should say try rentin it first, cause if you don't like DBZ or its games then just ignore all of this. but i think you should at least try it first.
and how could everyone forget about muramasa the demon blade?

I don't think anyone here has played Muramasa.
As for DBZ, its meant for the fanbase, much like Naruto is.

I doubt that will happen. Although Motion plus is likely to be bundled with other games as well.

Like Red Steel 2, but I guess it kind a needs to have a bundle since it only works with it.Godwind wrote:FaytSaratome wrote:He said an additional, meaning +1 to the one that it already comes with.Godwind wrote:soaringdive wrote:Also, to add to what Godwind said, don't get Wii Sports Resort until the ultra pack comes out that comes with an additional Wii Motion Plus for free.

I love both of them, and cartoony artstyles. Wish they would make more Fire Emblem games. ):darkwingdragon709 wrote:if ya interested in TBS'S and RTS'S heres some suggestions that where realky good.
