Zelda Wii - What does it need to "dethrone" Ocarina of Time

Hey guy, what kinds of features and mechanics do you think Zelda Wii needs to "dethrone" Ocarina of Time?

i dont care what nintendo or anyone does....OoT will NEVER and i repeat NEVER get dethroned....that is the best zelda game in the world ever made and i dont plan on anyone beating that game but i do however hope they make it fun and a cool online multiplayer somehow added into there where you could do a campaign with a freind would be pretty interesting

multiplayer IMO is not the way to go

...i didnt mean like only multiplay but kinda give it something like a four swordsy feel but not have 1 play control them all and that only being a secondary campaign kinda thing but i mean if you wann beat OoT u'd better gimme something good...i liked TP and everything just didnt seem to raise the N64 standards for LoZ

ya know, maybe they could incorperate some light RPG element, NOT LEVELING UP, but more shields and swords, and tunics

LoZ Multiplayer

1) Players talk to each other while in a lobby

2)Players battle (1v1)

3) Boss battle (co-op) 2players v 1 boss w/ higher difficulty

DLC!!! I know it won't happen, but zelda games are made for the fans!

It needs an arena mode where you can go and fight armies of monsters in an inclosed arena, with an arsenal of weapons, and online or offline! Kinda like horde mode in gears of war 2, but zelda!

Voice acting would be great (except for link) Add so much more personality to the game.

Customize your own sheild, maybe... Something like that.

everything everyone said here is great...i would know...im a hardcore LoZ fan...its all in the name o.O

Zelda is so good, I can't even think of ways to make it better.

Maybe online Co-op?
Maybe there could be like a Pit of 100 Trials where you and your friends could face 100 Trials of enemies. That would be sweet.

ikr? but they better make another solid zelda game..

these are just some random ideas i have. there could be dual-wiled swords, one master sword, the other your own sword. and with your own sword you can customize it, hilt blade whatever. you can also have a custom shield (along with hylian) also. there would be a few online multi player modes where you could bring your custom stuff. like a four swords style dungeon solving mode, dueling, and you and a bunch of friends fight endless enemies till you die. you can register your friends with usernames for ease of play, and you can get updates when they're availabele, and what stage of the single player their at.
*phew* ocarina is hard to beat..

u didnt even beat it yet that is how amazing that game was and still is and if i had that right now infront of me i would play

Never played LoZ Ot. Just not interested

In my opinion, Wind Waker already dethroned it. It may be because it's the first Zelda game I beaten or just from it's cartoonish looks, but it was a better game to me.

DUDE are you kidding me? i haven't beat it yet? i played it, it was really good, but i think it is passable, maybe not with what i said, but it is passable.

Excellent motion controls, great story, great graphics, and most of all, great and innovative gameplay. Twilight Princess came close to beating OoT, but it lacked the innovation. Still love the game, though.

zelda will be abit weird with online multiplayer lol

ill state what i think

1.Customization (everyone loves it)
2. DLC or cool horde mode like stated b4
3. More but cool mini games fishing and that kinda stuff
4.upgrade system with few skills but mostly weapons and clothing ext
5. allies. An ally is rarely seen in these games fighting with link now imagine a warfare scene where two sides face off and many on your side and against?( it be cool if you think about it)
