1. When using the wii remote and nunchuck, how do you switch to another person? i.e I'm running out of health and I need to switch to my 2nd character

well the thing is, I can't understand the manual. Call me stupid but the buttons names confuse me, and it says "z" partner and when I push it (wii remote and nunchuck) it summons the partner and he just uses an attack and my fc is: 5242-3747-1866
