Well, 360 has a bit more variety. You've just gotta know where to look. If you want a quality racing title, there's Forza Motorsport 3. I don't know how you can say that the 360 is ALL shooters when it's only got one exclusive FPS (Halo), and one exclusive TPS (Gears of War). For a WRPG there's Fable, for a JRPG there's Lost Odyssey (every other 360 JRPG sucks), and for a platformer you could try 'Splosion Man.

I agree that the PS3 has a wider diversity of exclusives, but keep in mind that Playstation has been around longer than Xbox and has had more time to establish franchises.

It's like saying the Wii only has shovelware.

See, the problem is, not all of those games are franchises that you mentioned. Nor are mine. Heavy Rain isn't a franchise, nor is MAG, nor is any of the PSN titles you mentioned. Standalone games, such as the ones I mentioned.

What about emulators? I could play Heavy Rain in a few years or so.

PS3: God of War 3, Heavy Rain
360: Fable III, Halo: Reach

My top ten most anticipated games of 2010 are (in no order):

Mario Galaxy 2, Halo Reach or GOW3 (they're equal to me), Black Mesa Project, ModNation Racers, Metroid Other M, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Twisted Metal (if it is real and is released this year), Monster Hunter Tri, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and Legend of Zelda Wii (just the ones i look forward to most).

Even if they are newer franchises, they're made by classic Playstation developers. Uncharted is made by Naughty Dog, who jumped on the Playstation bandwagon during the PSone era, as did Insomniac, SCE London, Polyphony Digital, SCE Japan, Sony Bend, SCE Cambridge, SCE Liverpool, and Incognito. Sucker Punch came on board with the PS2, as well as SCE Santa Monica, Zipper Interactive, Team ICO, Guerrilla Games, SCE San Diego, and Evolution. So most of the PS3 franchises were made by pre-PS3 developers. The only real new developer they have is Media Molecule.

That IS an excuse for Microsoft. It doesn't mean that they have more franchises. Numbers are numbers. I'm just giving you a reason WHY the numbers may be how they are. But that doesn't change the numbers.

In the Console War,you cant use the 360/PC exclusive excuse.

Remember,it is called the Console War.PC is a gaming platform,not a console.It is not called Platform War is it now?So when you debate in the CONSOLE war,games that are 360 and are on PC,are counted as 360 exclusive's

That still doesn't rewrite the definition for exclusive. Also by definition the PC is a console.

Get the FUCK over it, these consoles wars made sense in the 90's because the consoles actually had exclusives and even if they had the same games there were big differences. Nintendo = Nintendo, Sony = SEGA and Microsoft = Atari

So, iHave a question for everybody:
If a game is on the X-Box and Wii, or Wii And PS3, but NOT on the other consoles, is it an exclusive?

The point of a console war is to determine the best. You can't use 360/PC games because that's a point for both, and if it's a point for more than one console it doesn't count.

In a strict 360 vs PS3 debate, then 360/PC is allowed, but this topic is a general [2010] console war.

This is PS3/wii/360 .

You can't use 360/PC vs in a debate because the two are unequal.

If you have to use two systems to fight then that just says something about your system.
