I use switch axe, Gobul is so hard to frickin hit with a switch axe. Haven't gotten to Legi yet so I can't say much about him...

Well I think R. Ludroth is easy... I always can hit him when he does water bombs and at the end of his charges... under water though...

Right now I'm farming Gobul, I got a Fearsome Maw from Gigginox earlier unintentionally (Kind of rare) so I'm trying to put it to use and make the lance Gobula Maruka+.

I want Gobul armor and Barroth armor atm... Though might farm Qurupeco till I can unlock online Barroth and Gobul Quests.

Yo guys, you still gamin it up together? I've been lookin for a fairly consistent group to play with on a daily basis. Just got to HR 9 (only recently started playing online) so I could use any help I can get. If there's a vent server or anything, I'd love to get signed up for it. I've also got WiiSpeak, though I'm having a difficult time getting it to work... Anyhow, thanks!

ALL OF MY HAAAAAAATE! Stupid HR won't let me go to 9 D; Also the people I play with online for Barroth never seem to understand you have to play defensively when he's in RAEG mode. They just run right in front of him then BAM he's charges and they die.

Yeah, as mentioned before, you gotta do the Urgent Quest (another Barroth yeehaw!) to get to HR 9. And...ditch the fools you play with and come play with us. We usually are in the chatbox whenever we're playing (at least a few of us) so just come check it out and we'll play anytime. Good luck huntin!

Yeah, Barroth is Easy for me. I can read his movements so well, I haven't been head-butted in a LONG time.

Yeah, Barroth is Easy for me. I can read his movements so well, I haven't been head-butted in a LONG time.

Still challenging for me, he normally gets me with that damned tail swing or the other annoying monsters distract me when I either try to heal or get away from his charges...

I'm confused. I have done all the lvl 1 quests in Online, but I can't do lvl 2 quests. Wtf? Do I need a higher HR or something? Mine is 6 right now. Idk...well...anyway, I need to get ludroth helm and body then I have full ludroth...once I get that I need to upgrade my sword then I'm gonna try to go for Barroth again in single player. Hopefully I can get this done before Galaxy 2 comes out cuz I know there's no way I'm touching MH3 till I beat it.

You need to be HR9.

Does anyone else use Bounce bombs?? I just now discovered how effing awesome they are, especially on underwater bosses (I'M TALKIN BOUT YOU, GOBUL!!)

Side note, if anyone sees this and wants to play, I'll be on from like noon-3 my time (it's 11am now here. I think I'm Eastern time zone...) Just lemme know, I'll be in the chatbox prolly. Peace
