Was the 3DS rushed?

First of,i love my 3DS and am looking forward to more games,but i just can't stop getting the feeling that it could have been better.Maybe if Nintendo took a bit more time with it,maybe they could have put a bit more battery life in it,i mean 3 hours is not that much,especially since games like OoT are coming and they involve a lot of exploration,3 hours just won't cut it.They also could have released the 3DS with the eShop,internet browser,friend messages and the DSi transfer.Well that's just what i think,do you think it was rushed or it's perfectly fine?

It was rushed. It got released half working, and the library of games are just lackluster. They should have waited to release it more closer to OOT3D, that way there would be good games that makes you want to buy it on launch aswell as the eShop and everything else would be functional.
