It wouldn't surprise me if they did bring one out. There's a Sonic racing game either out already or coming out, and a sims racing game also either out already or coming out soon, both of which sort of look like Mario Kart.

I am 100% against that idea, Metroid would make a better racing game. It'd be like starwars episode 1 racer.
