Just the Pokemon you get. But Soul is just a redesign of Crystal, so her name is still Crystal.

There's a rumor going around that Crystal (the girl in Pokemon Crystal) is in Pokemon HG/SS, and if the rumor is true, then how is Soul a redesign of Crystal if she is in the games?

Because Crystal is SUPPOSED to be the playable girl character/second rival. That;s always been the tradition. I haven't once heard that rumor.

Silver (the guy with the red head) is suppose to be your rival, not Crystal. NPC are always rivals, while the opposite playable character takes the friend helping you collect pokemon for your pokedex role.

I'm getting both. Preorder. Preorder and you get a figurine of the corrisponding legendary of each game. but preorder both and you also get a arceus figurine

serebii always covers new pokemon games these ones REALLY seem worth it. 2 regions a battle frontier, theres WAY too much to list.

i'll probably buy this game, but i'm going to wait until summer since that is the only time i can ever really play Pokemon for long periods of time.

ah. in that case you should buy either Heart gold, Soul silver, or try platinum. any of them are good pokemon games (assuming you have the free time to play the games.)
