Edge gave super mario bros wii a 7/10 (suprised anyone?)

i mean really? 7/10? are you really surprised? i don't trust Edge probably never will.. ign, gamespot or other top game reviewers will give it a good review because there name isn't Edge

I need a link to see this, that's retarded of them to give it a 7.

A- Great
B- Good
C- Average
D- Below Average
F- Horrible

The 10-point system is flawed, and the people seeing the review scores are flawed. As shown above, the 5-point system tells you what you need to know. So 7 = 3.5 = Above Average, but everyone thinks that games need to be 8+ to be worth buying and playing, and everything below sucks, which is false. 7/10 means it is worth buying and playing.

Now it is retarded how they went in depth, and you entirely see how the review was biased. "Bland level design, and nothing new" was all they said summed up, while they gave ODST I think an 8.5 or 9, that just screams biased. Anyways, a 7 from Edge is an 8 or 9 from IGN and other places, depending on the bias towards the system (which, since it's Wii, it would probably be a 9)

To those whom say tl;dr, to sum up: 7 isn't bad, some people's views on scores are messed up, and Edge tries to get fanboys to buy the magazine by lowering the scores of games on other consoles.

Well, I won't be able to post my opinion on if I agree with them or not until I actually play the game. But I think I can assume this game is going to be better than a 7.

I'm not surprised, as it's TOTALLY fair to the consumer for a reviewer to review a game BEFORE it comes out. (sarcasm)

Super Mario Bros Wii looks like a bad game to me. I liked the DS one, but now they're just pushing it.
