Developer Praises Wii's Graphical Power (Finally)

We've all seen the complaining going on how the Wii is graphically inferior to the other consoles, and how there's going to be a Wii HD to fix that for developers, and fanboys, and yada, yada, yada.

We've also seen the emerging of actually good games from smart developers that fully support the Wii's graphical power besides Nintendo. i.e. HVS, Visceral Games, etc. But none of them told the public of how the Wii can support such great looking 360-like, keyword "like", games. And when they do, they'll just give the factual technicalities of the Wii that no one wants to hear.

But finally, here is one developer that gets the general idea of the Wii's power, and tells it straight out to the public. And the best part? No complaining about the Wii's memory, resolution, or other technical aspects; no complaining on there being a Wii HD; and no informing on the Wii's graphical aspects. It's just straight out general.

hearing this makes me think about the other developers and why they cant actually realize the wii got loads of power and they need to learn how to use

Lol, I can't believe so many developers have lied and said "we can't do our game on the Wii" and then Capcom comes and shuts them up. If you took an average 360 game, got rid of all the ugly colours, this would look just as graphically good.

you can make anything look good in any system. it only takes the human brain and some common sense to make a neat looking title. it makes me pretty happy that there are developers willing to accept the wii as a worthy system despite its limitations

wow nintendos consoles always get this... They get crap after release. (sure some really really good titles at release and at some points) But Developers always do this look at the GC its graphical master peices came at the end of its life. (excluding metriod lol Really nice game even compared to 360 hahaha Takes real developers talent to do that)

DMC 4 is awesome. i cant wait to see what 3rd party games will be coming out next year.

thanks Jaques.. you made me crack a smile now after reading this.. why didn't i crack a smile before? because i feel suda51 betrayed me after not having no more heroes a wii exclusive anymore.. im still buying no more heroes 2 for sure but i still feel betrayed and now im worried about NMH2 getting ported now.. anyway thank you

Yes, but not in terms of gameplay much. Hopefully The Grinder and Gladiator A.D. will be better than The Conduit (in terms of story - mostly).

Factor 5 was the FIRST company to praise the Wii's graphical power before going bankrupt saying their game, Lair for the PS3, would have done just as good as the PS3 (in terms of graphics) and maybe better controls.

They said they needed money from Nintendo as they filed bankruptcy early on.

This wont stop fanboys from saying the wii still sucks. But Shokio and others are doing a good job owning most of them.
