Pokemon game for Wii

I NEED one. Wyhen are they going to release one that doesn't need to be supported by the DS version?

Well, there always the Mystery Dungeon game coming on WiiWare, and hey don't need DS support. Plus it would defeat the whole purpose of trade, battle, etc. on the go.

oh ok well i am not a huge Pokemon fan but i do have a Pokemon xd gale of darkness GameCube but i got it for my birthday one year so i had no choses

i think that they should make a proper pokemon game on the wii not just the rubbish all that you can do is fight one it should be a proper one like the ds and gb games they could even use the same style of graphics and with all of the disk space the game could be exceptionally long which would be a very good thing i hate that the proper pkemon games are on handhelds only excluding gale of drakness (which i've never played but i think is a proper pokemon stylesk game)

Again it defeats the purpose of what Pokemon is and what it's suppose to do. So don't expect a Pokemon game like the handheld ones on a console anytime soon. Or maybe never.

They already made one though...I guess another would be cool but i got tired of those after pokmon colleseum for gamecube.

There is one way it can work get ur friends FC and you can trade wenever also there should be a trading center like on diamond and pearl.

I want a pokemon game like the gameboy ones but in 3d. you know something that actually goes with the story.

Again, it defeats the purpose of Pokemon, or in Japan, Pocket Monsters. So, don't expect anything other then Pokemon Stadium sequels on Nintendo consoles.

Yeah, Battle Revolution on the Wii lets you transfer your Pokemon from Diamond or Pearl and battle on wi-fi; I have the game and pretty much worship it. I know that Pokemon means "Pocket Monsters," but think about it this way; the monsters in the pokeballs fit in your pocket. I don't think they meant that the game was supposed to fit in your pocket; I think they meant the monsters were (that was addressing the "it would defeat the purpose of pokemon" comment). I think a REAL Pokemon RPG on the Wii would be pretty much the most amazing thing ever. Think about it; using the Wiimote's motion control to throw the pokeball and a full 3D environment? Think about how gorgeous Super Mario Galaxy, The Conduit, and Twilight Princess are, add that to the beastliness that is Pokemon, and what do you have? A game that will make me jizz in my pants. I'd pre-order the super-duper-waste-of-money special edition of THAT game in a heartbeat.

I loved XD gale of darkness and colosseum. I would love a game like that on wii.

With an online battle and trade mode. A lobby for people to send each other friend request and talk via wii speak. Also wii speak support for the battles and trades. Trade pokemon to your ds and i would instantly buy this.

Shhhhhh... Only Pokemon Stadium/Colosseum-like games will ever be made on a console, so don't get your hopes up.
