I actually like the new ones, Emerald has one of the best stories out of the series. Reason why the ratings are going down with each game is because Nintendo isn't doing anything new with the franchise. Hopefully they'll change a lot of things in Black and White, but not enough for where it's no longer Pokemon.

Actually, if you really pay attention, they change very significantly each game. The changes aren't the case. Diamond and Peal are VERY different but they got lower ratings...It's just a simple fact that they get worse each time by a small bit. But don't get me wrong, I am enjoying HeartGold a lot right now.

I'm definitely using the Fire and Grass, Water is low chance but I'll check ALL their stats and moves. (I'm more focused on the type of stats and moves they learn, that's why I have a Bibarel in Platinum)

First they'll release Pokemon Black & White versions and then about a year later they'll release the special edition Pokemon Asian version. I can see it all now....
