NSMBWii gets 9.2 from IGN

9.2!? Dang, I thought it would be higher.

I swear, if someone complains about a 9.2 and that it should've been higher you get an automatic Head-desk or face-palm pic.

But this is the first 2D Mario console game in 18 years, and from all the videos I've seen it looked utterly amazing. The way it combined everything from the previous Mario gems to the return of the koopalings...and it gets a low A. How lame. Oh well, it's still gonna be awesome!

Yeah, because a A- to A means it's bad score.



Same thing with Uncharted 2 9.3 review from Game Trailers, people bitched because it didn't get a 10. Anything 9 or above is great, while 10 means excellent (but not perfect, which is why I hate the numeral rating system).

well a low A isn't so great compared to all the high A games coming out lately. While review scores are opinions I don't want NSMBWii to look weak compared to other games. I can't really explain it.

I didn' say A- is bad. I just wished it was higher.

i know what you mean its like GTA getting a perfect 10 and metriod getting 9.5 like i personally hate to see that when GTA seems so mindless. and metriod prime as the mega series.

^^^^ Yeah! that right there. We'll just have to wait and see what ign says in the video review.

i'm betting IGN North America will give it a 9.3, because i feel it deserves that at least.

Well, they only gave MW2 .3 higher than this, so it's not much of a big deal. There would be war if they gave this game as high or higher then MW2, due to Wii haters.
