The release date has not been announced, but it's pretty much confirmed for 2010. They look to be pretty far along in it.

What?! There's never enough Mario Party. While I think Mario Party 8 is a step down, I still want a Mario Party 9. Me and my friends occasionally play the Gamecube Mario Parties. (Those are the best. Can I hear Mario Party 5?)

You can't be gay for not liking Mario Party. That is completely understandable.(Not really)

The game is near completion, so unless Nintendo is greedy enough to make us wait until Holiday, 2010, I'm expecting it somewhere between April and May, 2010.

all i want is for ninte to put back the punch kick combo, slide kick and trip kick that was in mario 64 but with better execution and effect. i don't know why they took them away but i know that was part of what made mario 64 a blast to play, i loved bein able to beat the enemies in other ways besides just simply jumpin on them. those abilities bein takin away is what made sunshine less fun then it coulda been...granted it WAS a great platformer as every mario game is.

What button will they map them to.
Flick is spin, A is jump, B is shoot, the D pad is for the camera, Z is for crouching, and C is for centering the camera. The only buttons left are 1, 2, and - (which was used as pause just like +).

i got a simple and easy answer, get rid of the star bit shooter only for when you run into hungry lumas, and replace it with punch and kick. the shooter was pretty useless in the first place and i found it rather pointless, i would MUCH rather be able to punch and kick again.

I think the only way to realy make mario galaxy 2 better is to add more of a reason to play as luigi. Ulocking luigi just to replay mario's story not bad but they could have used that extra space on the disk to make luigi story in voling daisy. This Nitendo's first mainstream mario game sequal beside mario bros. Be aware I don't hate the game but I say don't expect to much from the game. The might be a show of fan servive like NSMB wii adding yoshi just to spark interest in the game maybe Im might be wrong but I still have hope it'll be a great game improving on perfection.

Guys if so may of you are buying the game if so many of you are going to buy the game does this mean you have a club nintendo account to register for prizes like me. I mean if you alway buying Nintendo games no excuse not to have 1. The offer a servey for 30 nintendo piont. It'll last till February so hurry to it.

lol but I still want more of a reason to play as luigi. who cares if she never gets kidnapped. It'll just be a series first or we could give a remix to peaches story so we dont do the same game with a charcter swap.

to play as luigi you can get 121 stars lol in total 242 lol but i guess mabye more difficult?
