I heard it has something to do with inphase about holow-graphic (h.g.s) storage. kinda like the deal nintendo did with sony during the n64 era. hgs is a new storage median that kills blue-ray by not just putting information at the top of the disk but in the core. which in-phase and ge know how to do. the capacity is 500GB for 1 disk or 300GB depending on who nintendo choses.

Nintendo's next big move would be a hard drive and better online before they think about bigger disc capacity.
