Resident Evil 5 Wii Petetion

When i found out that resident evil 5 wont be out on wii, i was very disspaointed. Res 4 is still one of the best games on the wii and i really hoped it came out for the wii. we have done a petetion with over 60000 people.
please sign it and then hopefully capcom can see the support if your like me and really want it to come on the wii.

I don't think the Wii would work for Resident Evil 5. First of all, it won't be able to pump out those amazing visuals. Second of all, the game is two-player, no splitscreen. Resident Evil 4 worked because it was single-player. So the only way to do RE5 co-op is to play with a friend over the oh-so-wonderful WiiConnect24. I doubt Capcom would design a stable online for RE5 on the Wii.

I don't see it working unless MAJOR changes are made.

i totally disagree. RE5 was co-op splitscreen, no reason for a wii version not to have it, and online would work just fine. the only thing that would have to be watered down is the graphics, and we know it couldn't look worst than RE4, infact it'd have too look better seein as the wii is 2X more powerful than the GC at its weakest...anything less than 2X RE4 would be lazyness.

besides, RE4 was 4X better than 5 in everyway anyway(besides visuals of course). to be honest, i totally stopped carin for a wii version right after playin the game for 2hrs...it was one of THE biggest letdowns this gen.

It's kinda late for RE5...jeez people.

I would have to agree, but I still think it's a pretty good game. Was there splitscreen co-op in RE5? I couldn't figure out how to do it.

yeah. you just have to get a friend with an active remote, and co-op(spit screen) should be an option.

it should look like:
single player
co-op split screen
co-op online.

y not, i was very disappointed in capcom for this and they put their own shoe in their mouths, even tho RE4 is 1 billion times better then RE5 so they owe it to use knowing alot of their fanbase are also nintendo fans

RE4 is beast i know even tho RE5 wasent as good as RE4, im never against equal opportunity

I personally don't believe that Resident Evil 5 will be coming to the Wii. I do believe that we could see more traditional style RE games for the Wii if enough of a buzz is built up. A couple weeks ago we heard that the PSP crowd wants a Resident Evil on their platform, and thanks to a petition, Capcom has taken notice. It seems that this caused a stir in the Wii crowd, and now a petition for a Wii version of Resident Evil 5 has popped up. If you want a Resident Evil game on the Wii, it might not be a bad idea to add your name. Huge thanks to everyone that sent this in!
