New Resident Evil Wii Game

Seems like Capcom is getting a lot more serious about game development for the Wii.

anyhow, it's an interesting style to blend exploration and on-rails, just gotta see how it plays out though. it'll probably just be exploration for gameplay and on-rails for cinematics and cutscenes

Ya but I wouldn't count that as lazyness because the OG was on rails but R.E Is supposer 3rd peson survival horror (or at least action) not freaking rails. I know rail shooters aren't baffle but not what's the masses want. Then they cry about sales lol

sin and punishment is a bullet-hell type game, or shump (shoot em up). the amount of bullets coming to you at the screen, the amount of lead you're unloading at your enemies, and the amount of balls-to-the-wall action that's taking place is what makes it good

resident evil on the other hand, it's more about exploring your way through corridors or creepy areas that are littered with zombies/mutants that are after you. i'm guessing it's supposed to be a shit-your-pants-scary game or something. a first-person experience enhances the experience, but the rail-shooting downplays it - unless we're talking house of the dead, in which you shoot the hell out of mutants

I never liked the Resident Evil games in the first place. Just not my kind of game.

Also, it is okay to use the Z word when playing House of the Dead.

it sounded good to me but they said onrails..well for quite a few months now capcom has not disappointed even in trying something new wit wii games so ill wait and see wht they will do wit this mix of 3ed and onrail even tho nobody wants onrail, they want wht they say wit RE4 wii edition

Same, but look how they made Darkside Chronicles look so beautiful (in visual sense) and Capcom has been improving a lot for the Wii ( Monster Hunter Tri). Sure the games of Resident Evil are all on-rails for the Wii, Capcom might make it more 3rd Person with some on rails. Who knows?
