8/10 , If the text wasn't the main focal that would be pretty good

I can see that you tried to add an effect to the background instead of using a repeated pattern as the background , Next time don't make the text the main focal point just put it in the corner or something.

I saw your Photoshop gallery thread. Good stuff you got there. The one you don now gets an 8/10 from me.

Can someone please rate these?

1st Pretty good Could do some effects on the render jsut so it doesnt stand out text is ok. 5/10

2nd Pretty good but the colours don't really match eachother 4/10

3rd Not so sure about the text or the effects on the render but I can see in the background that you tried exploring effects 5/10

4th(your current sig) I love this one the colours seem to mathc etc 6/10

Thanks for the input. I did put an effect on the render in the first sig. I used Colorize to put a very light coat of brownish green on the render. But I guess it was too subtle. The second sig, well, I can't say I spent too much time on it. The third sig I think is alright. I'm not digging the text on it, so I might change it down the line.

Now for you. The image looks a little compressed. The text and text placement is nice, but the compression really bugs me. 6/10.

Alright, this is my first time making a sig, and I don't have photoshop, I have Paint Shop Pro 6 (Which is a pretty old program, from the year 1999)

Anyway, tell me what you think

Yours is pretty badass snare, i would give it a 9/10, staying true to the game with the colours

Yeah, that was the one thing that annoyed me, I couldn't get it any clearer though (like I said, I have a really old photo editor)

That's understandable. Maybe you should try trading up. I use GIMP 2.6. It's free, and it works very well once you learn how to use it. I can't tell you how good it feels when you learn a new technique and use it for the first time.

The text is fine in your sig. It's the logo of Madworld. Can't go wrong with logos, unless they don't appear to fit. For example, the Metroid logo wouldn't fit with my sig. But you stayed true to Madworld's color scheme, so the logo, which was designed to blend with that color scheme, works great with the sig. It's also the perfect size. A signature like mine (500x160) shouldn't be using logos because they're too big.

Oh, that's fine. Not great, it blends in with the background a little too much, but that doesn't take away from the sig all that much.
