IGN's top 25 consoles of all time

360 #6 and Wii #10? WTF and there were loads of consoles I'm sure the majority of people haven't even heard of on there o_O. Yeah so overall crappy list. At least the NES was #1 and the SNES and Sega Genesis were high up.

Sorry, but technically eyetoy used motion control before the Wii. Wii was the first system to mandate Motion control though.

Eyetoy wasn't really motion control, but it wasn't a crappy list I heard of the console on there including the ones from the late 70's

my list:

1. snes
2. n64
3. dramcast
4. xbox
5. wii

notice ps is nowhere on my list. thats cause as far as i'm see it, sony has done nothin for the industry or for games in general like ninte, sega and even microsoft did(by perfectin online play and introducin the hard disk). all sony did was dominate sales which don't earn them recognition for me. all i can say about the ps2 is...they sure did sell a lotta units.

Seriously, some of these consoles were pretty shitty. I don't know why anyone is taking it seriously.

nah, its just that most people have thier idea of what the journalists shoulda gave props for and simply want others to know how they feel, be it true or completely opinionated. like for example, some are mad cause 360 was placed higher then the wii, even though the wii had a more significant place in the industry:true. and though literally everyone in the industry would disagree with me when i say the n64 did more for games tgen the ps1 and should be placed higher:opinion.

btw, what top 5 do you think is more suitable?

NES saved gaming, it is the most greatest. Until we get another Video Game Crash (which would be happening right now if Nintendo and Sony didn't make a system this gen), then whichever system saved the crash would take 1st place.
