did reviewers overrated Halo ODST?

Yes I would agree.

It's definitely overrated. Since I'm not the Master Chief, it's no more fun to me than SWAT or any other FPS; the Master Chief is what made Halo special.

ya, i think its a solid game but it didnt do anything new and usually when they dont do anything " revolutionary" the call it a generic shooter with ok graphics and it gets a 7. but since it has the word halo in it it gets 9's and 8's

halo has been overated scince the first one (mostly second) and it wont change

It's a fun game, if it was only on the Wii you would all be talking about how it's such a fantastic game.

I'll be the first to admit that The Conduit's overrated. It's a bit like ODST except that it's not part of a series that past its expiration date. The reason Wii owners love The Conduit isn't so much because it's a good game; The Conduit is the first Wii-exclusive FPS that looks like it's had some serious time and development put into it. Despite its overall mediocrity, High Voltage did put a lot of effort into the game, and we appreciate it, and honestly, the game's good; better than ODST, in my opinion, though not by leaps and bounds. Halo is just an overdone franchise, and ODST was a step in the wrong direction IMO.

lol I already admited The Conduit is overated. Halo 3 is overated too but Halo 3 is probally has the best multiplayer in a game Ive played before. idk about Halo 3 ODST. Some of my friends say its crap. while others like it alot. So I say mixed reviews I still dont understand how G4 gave it a 5 out 5 I thinks complete BS

If it was on the Wii, I still wouldn't like it, I don't like ports from one console to another from the same company like with the PSP

I just got ODST yesterday, and it's totally worth the money. It's the best halo campaign game i've played so far. And to even compare the Conduit to ODST is just silly. ODST is way better.

I played it yesterday as well and its just like Halo 3 in my opinion its just Halo 3 with firefight mode and a new campaign

No, I still wouldn't like it if it was on the Wii. Halo bores the shit out of me. The Conduit actually had an interesting story, only reason I kept playing it. Halo's story was a bore to me. ODST, no difference. This is what you do in Halo. PRESS RIGHT TRIGGER FOR WIN.
