Would guys love to see a revamp of the Wii's online service?

Add
-Universal Friend List, get rid of Friend Codes(100 cap)
-Ability to patch released games and game that have yet to be released
-Ability to use Wii Speak for every game that has an online multiplayer component
-Background Downloading
-A place similar to Playstation Home in which Mii's can interact with other Mii's.\
-Ability to game share Virtual Classics
-Universal GamerTag(Online ID)
-MLG support
-Report players that had detrimental behavior

Since the PS3 is finally getting Netflix, should you also like to have Netflix to also be ran on the Wii?

That's the one thing that I hate about the Wii - the online. Nintendo has stated numerous times that they want to be better than XBL, but they haven't done anything toward that statement. Reggie also promised a Wii Online Community, so maybe that'll be revealed soon.

They are pretty good stuff the Wii's Online should get revamped for and the one that you said that will be similar to the Playstation's Home, we have Wii no Ma (though not as good).

Reporting players, is probably the most needed as we have so many Hackers in The Conduit. We also might want to use messages online (using a keyboard) while playing Online too. How about that?

And Netflix would be sweet, if Nintendo would talk to them about that. But, I hope it will be free.

^I wouldn't bet on it, bro. Remember he said that Ninty was unveiling a new IP in 2008 that would satisfy the hardcore? What we got was...*Shivers* Wii Music. *Shivers*

Nintendo will draw in the hardcore crowd very well if they improved the WFC, but Carrie Dunaway, the VP of Nintendo keeps saying that the WFC is user friendly for the causal market. Reggie needs to fire her.

And if they allowed the ability to patch games and distribute DLC, developers would be more enticed to develop om the Wii, knowing that the online community will be there.

i think if they re-vamp it it should be called Nintendo Online Servce, or NOS for short cause that would be sweet

i know i think their R&D is to focused on motion plus and all that instead of online

The DEFINITELY needs to be a Wii Speak Channel update where once you're talking to someone, you can launch and play a VC game while talking to them at the same time, and instead of them seeing your mii's head, they'll actually be able to watch you play.
