What do you guys think about paying for online for Monster Hunter 3?

Wondering what you guys think about it. I mean if it is a really good online experince then il pay , but it all depends aswell , i dont think it is too expensive tho.

It's probably free when it gets over to America because P2P (pay to play) is just for Japan. Every other MH games in America have been F2P (free to play).

Nintendo NEVER charges for online in America. Therefore, Monster Hunter 3 will be free online, just like every other game. When a game says "pay and play" wifi here, it means there's payable options, for example in guitar hero you can buy extra songs online, but you can STILL play against others for free.

yea it bettter be free thats going as low as microsoft charging for online D:
but i know they wont cuz only in japan where the game is really popular

i refuse to pay for online gaming unless its like extra content like someone said above guitar hero, which is why i dont have or intend to get an xbox (that and i cant afford it right now anyway )

Be glad Monster Hunter isn't liked/well known in USA. That is the reason it's free here, so I heard.

No game for the Wii should cost money to play online; that would be stooping (as someone mentioned) to Microsoft's level and giving Sony the advantage in another area (as far as I know, there are no P2P PS3 games, but correct me if I'm wrong), which is the last thing Nintendo needs to do after their humiliating defeats by Sony in the 5th and 6th Generations; 7th Generation is Nintendo's time for revenge.

N64 sold 33 million systems

I think they're both humiliating, and Nintendo's 6th generation defeat is humiliating no matter how you look at it.

if internet channel just went free i doubt they will charge us mabe some extra content tho?

I still just don't feel it was humiliating unless nintendo said that they were dissapointed with the sales. If they said that, then probably. But whever.

i coudnt care if it was p2p or f2p the game looks awsome so im gunna get it.
