Normally it's not a huge deal for me. I don't mind swapping discs, but if there's an alternative, I'll take it. That's where the PS3 version comes in. It's also got uncompressed audio and 1080p cutscenes.

Pssh...Final Fantasy is too japanese

i think final fantasy should've stayed on the nintendo and sony consoles. it just seems better. final fantasy started out on nintendo, then went to sony, now square enix makes it for both. then it goes to microsoft :/ not that i have a problem with 360 i just think it should belong to nintendo and sony. anyway that was my opinion on what console it should be on but ill defentaly be getting it on ps3. i dont really like swapping discs

I'll admit, I'm a little bitter over the fact that almost a full game's worth of content was cut from the PS3 version in order to make the 360 version equal.

I am not a fan boy or anything but ps3 all the way sorry 360 guys i dont think they should even have the game on the 360 beacause from Final Fantasy 7 all the way to 12 has been playstation. (Apart from the nintendo) Now 13 it has to be for 360 players to. Playstation does not demand any other games that may of been exclusive to them eg

Gears of War or Halo

I just don't get why Square had to cut all that content to make the versions equal. Couldn't they have made the game six discs on the 360 as opposed to three?

I will getting it for 360 cause I don't have a PS3 and because I couldn't care less how many disks it had. It could have 10 disks and as long as its a good game I will buy it.

I was under the impression that fans demanded the games, not the console itself. Besides, there's no balance, where "Oh, you have this exclusive, we'll take this one." Halo 3 was a first-party exclusive, I believe, and Gears of War 2 was a second-party exclusive. Either developed or published by Microsoft. So unless Microsoft gives the go-ahead, those games won't go to the PS3. Final Fantasy, however, is a third-party game, so Square can put it on any console they want. And Microsoft paid them enough to get a 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII. Don't worry, Versus XIII is still an exclusive (for now; I wouldn't be surprised if it went to the 360). And if you have a PSP, you can still enjoy Agito XIII.

And why are you complaining about Final Fantasy XIII being on the 360, then telling people that disc-swapping isn't a big deal? You complain about the 360 getting what was originally a PS3 exclusive, then you support the 360 by justifying the limitations of DVD-9. You confuse me.

I'll be getting it on the 360 , Just because I don't have a Ps3 anymore.

I'll be getting whatever is in stock when I go to buy it.
