Which reviewer are you listing? God of War III has received numerous 10s and holds a 94 on Metacritic.

Besides, who cares about scores? Get a game because you want it.

thats just gametrailers score, i has a 94 on metacritic and gameinformer gave it a 10...i shutter at thier score though...MAN i hate those bastards. but yeah, judgin from what i've seen, i don't see nothin wrong with that score. the game is exactly the same as the others but with better graphics and shorter...though i don't know WHY its shorter. you'd think that with the blu-ray discs they'd make the game longer than 6hrs.

ya ign game it a 9.3 which i think is fine and he said your first play-though would be about 10 hours which i think is fine. but there are other stuff to do so theres more than 10 hours of fun.

But reviewers are assigned games that fit their preferences. IGN obviously isn't going to assign a review of Super Mario Galaxy 2 to someone who has never touched a platformer before.

the reviewers said it was shorter than GoW2, and i beat that in about 5hrs...short game indeed on a blu-ray disc.

Think about it, why did these people get a job reviewing games in the first place?
Reviewers are given games to review that fits the genre they like.

Some reviewers are journalist. in the uk were am from thery have news paper reviews cant possibly tell me a news paper has a gamer to review............Also its rught it is not about scores but when you see games that are getting low scores like final fantasy 8.5 then mass effect 9.7. I read a review saying that god of war lost marks on its orginality.

But when poeple are saying god of war sets the standard of games at the moment am sure it should of got higher......I maybe wroung but ah well.

sometimes reviewers does matter becasue they can turn a hype game into trash and a non hype game into gold.

well what can be said? FF13 got a lower score than ME2 cause ME was the better game, and 13 took a couple steps backward from 12 in the gameplay department. as far as GoW, i think the score was about right, but the standard in action games? i can't agree with that. games like ninja gaiden or DMC are better action games, and far more challengin.

I see where you are coming from, Ninja gaiden is a great game. They are many challenging games like Bayonetta etc. FF13 battle system has changed since FF7 but they have a few that have changed such as the PSP Crysis Core. Tha was not really typical term based could slash and dash when ever you want.

They saying god of war is to set the standard, i dont think we going to a game like that 4 a bit.

This sounds more and more like the uncharted reviews. the whole "wow" factor. However this is more impressive, as they are saying this AFTER uncharted 2 has come out.
