??? I'm sorry if they took out your favorite glitch the Wave-dash, added Metaknight, online isn't good, and made it "easy". This is why I laugh at the supposed "hardcore" gamer because the SSB series has always been a party-fighting game and if you didn't/don't realize this, you're an idiot. Anyone else want something called "logic"?
HAHAHAHA!! I GOY YOU! I can't even wavedash >:p
But everything else is different...And yeah the party thing is true but Melee was so awesome. It was awesome for both casual and hardcore gamers. Nobody really thought about it back then. So why did Nintendo have to make such a huge change. Smash Bros isn't as "Luck" based as Mario Kart but then Brawl came in to morph the series into a luck based fighting game. And I just don't like. And Dude, why are all your posts negative towards me!? You're getting on my nerves.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Oh yeah, don't even talk about Meta Knight. Most unbalanced character ever. He's still getting debated on if he should even be used in the tournaments.

If my posts seem negative is because it's the only way to get a point across. Being nice really doesn't help. And where does this "luck" thing come from. You actually need skill. If it's "luck", then that means you actually played the series before and that's why it's "easy". A new person to the SSB who first time is Brawl it's going to be hard for, where as somebody played all 3 games, meaning it'll be easy for that person. Meaning I'm going to have more experience than the new person.

But I was able to beat 20 Metaknights with Sonic. Now THAT takes skill

I remember the day it came out and when i went to get it. Nearly had a heart attack on the way home, screaming the whole way running inside the house...played that game for HOURS on end and released every character in two days! Yup...that was the life lol.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
i played this since the first and i played melee and brawl so i played all of em in short. But im really good at this game and i find all characters can be beat its well balanced to me its all on how well you play. Meta knight is strong from the front but best way to take him down is lots of doging and shielding then move for counters or just throw and spike him. Getting behind him is good but dont focus on it as repetition will be your end. so in short i think meta knight is as good as ant character i find no imbalances

The only challenge I need left is beating Boss Battles on Intense. I got to Tabuu and his wings dismantled my face.

I'm sorry, but if you have problems with luck, you must have no skill. Not trying to be negative. And if you have problems with luck, turn the items off. I personally love it when something lucky and funny happens, per say I use B↑ with Link and a random soccor ball comes outta nowhere and hits Marth and puts me in Sudden Death and earns me my first victory online. And my first Replay. *BREATHES*Jakester12621 wrote:Mark_chaos wrote:Jakester12621 wrote:Yes, I love Brawl's feature I just don't like the gameplay. When I play with my friends, we get lucky all of the time. We pause the game and litterally ROFLMAO. Picture five dudes in a room laughing on the floor because a random rolling crate nails us in the face! Ahh, memories. (Thank replays!)
I played Melee for about 20min at my friends house. Soooo different (in a bad way). I can't grab the ledge if I'm facing the opposite direction but literally touching the edge!? And playing on Battlefield and Final Destination was terrible for me. Tried to camp the edge, readying for a Meteor Smash, and I slide off the edge!
Melee was good until Brawl touched my Wii in naughty ways unimaginable.

I love when something funny and random happens. Games were built for fun, not competition. I love taking pictures and videos of funny fights and fun glitches (such as Giga Jigglypuff vs Super Sonic).
Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Here's how I see it:
The first SSB was pretty much the perfect difficulty but only had 12 characters.
Some of the unlocks in Melee are just too hard, but lots of characters.
Brawl was WAY too easy, but even more characters.
All of them have orgasmic gameplay.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Yeah, like you can have Jigglypuff beating the shit out of Solid Snake on the 360; no system's ever going to have a fighting game with a hilarious paradox like that that also has the uber-epic-pwnage 4-way sword battle mix of Ike, Marth, Link, and Toon Link (or Roy, Marth, Link, and Young Link if you're playing Melee).Jade789119 wrote:ElkinFencer10 wrote:A noob. I wish I were that good; I've beaten about 90% of the challenges, but I've used 4 or 5 hammers.Jade789119 wrote:i know and brawl is jam packed with features ive almost beat all the chalanges still havent used a sinlge hammer lol

I wish I still had my hammers... collecting stickers are f***ing annoying especially when you have 693/700.
